Price: .02 cents per square inch

The following is meant to be a guide to give you an idea of my pricing structure.  Since textiles like quilts are so variable, there are factors which can cause the price of your project to be more or less than your estimate.  I do keep your budget in mind and try my best to get you what you want at a reasonable price!

Not too dense, nor too loose, this is the average quilting that most people request.  Patterns can vary, and can be either freehand or computerized.

General Allover Quilting

Price: .025 cents per square inch and up

This is where pricing gets fluid, but I will explain my formula!  I generally start about 2.5 cents per square inch and then figure how long the chosen pattern takes me to do on your project, and I come up with pricing combining those two factors.  Sometimes this means the price goes down  (especially on large quilts) and sometimes I just charge a ,minimum charge because the quilt was small and took some time to do but the square inch formula doesn’t work as well!!

Custom Quilting

Price: 8.00 per linear yard

I have all cotton, such as Warm and Natural, Cotton Poly like Hobbs Heirloom, and puffy polyester battings.  All are about 100 inches wide.  If necessary I will piece the batting to make sure it’s wide enough. You may also supply your own batting!

I will do binding several ways: I make the binding for you if you need me to, I will attach to front or back as you need, and I can stitch it down by hand if you request that service.

Price: 12.00 and up

Classy labels that show the quilt’s origin, what occasion it’s for, and who it’s going to!  I have plenty of fonts and designs to enhance your label.  I can use your fabric or mine. Need to embroider someone’s name on your quilt?  I can do that!

How to calculate the square inches of your quilt:

Measure the length and width of your quilt and multiply them.  Take that result and multiply by the price per square inch for an estimate!

For instance:

Length = 50 inches  x

Height = 50 inches

Result: 2500 square inches

2500 x .02 = $50.00 this is a general estimate of quilting the quilt!
