Marijo F. made this excellent grandmother’s flower garden type quilt and I used a paper shape to help mark the quilted flowers in the yellow areas prior to quilting, and did some filler leaves and texture. This hangs in her church, as I recall. |

Rhona B. wanted motifs to remind her of her South African roots. So on this serene quilt with desert coloring I put some images that look somewhat tribal. |

I have photos on most of my pages so be sure to browse around the site to see more! |

This is a redwork quilt by creative quilter Carol M., who embroidered all the red motifs. I did textures around each motif and a floral type design in the alternate blocks. Carol loves to rescue and repair old quilts from antique stores and flea markets too and often brings them to me to quilt. |

These are samples of some of the freehand work that I can do, which is pretty much anything you come up with. I enjoy working with your ideas and creating a unique piece of art. And don’t forget, if you have a quilt you “just need basic work” on, I’m up for that too! And my computerized system now offers limitless ideas as well. |

Marcia M. made this spectacular quilt from a Quilters Newsletter cover photo, making her own patterns for each block, as there was no pattern included in the magazine. She brought it to me to quilt, and I did elaborate work all over it. She entered it into the fair this year (2011) and lo and behold it won a blue ribbon for her and for me: “best of professional machine quilting” ...and I was so surprised and proud, because I didn’t know she was entering it this year! I was very pleased that all my customers’ quilts that I did for them won blue ribbons. |
